PCB v6.0 ?

I've thought about to order a new one for a friend of mine and discovered a v6.0 PCB on OSH Park. Should i wait or could it take a while to be finished?

Don't wait for v6.0; it's not ready yet. Go with 5.3.1.

Feature-wise, they will work identically.

V6 is single sided components, new microprocessor, smaller bom (qty & price), but will otherwise operate completely identical to all BlueSaab modules.

Prototypes have yet to be built, and testing needs done, so most likely v6 will need some changes before we feel comfortable releasing it (ie, people will probably be getting v6.1 or v6.2, after the kinks get worked out).

Haven't heard any updates on BlueSaab 6.x for a while... how goes it?

BlueSaab v6 and BlueSaabXM modules are being developed in parallel. We had a number of challenges to overcome with the new design, but not that those are resolved, it's all about porting the code.
