I have assembled a number of BlueSaab modules. Two v4.1s and three v3.3s.
The main difference is that v4.1 is almost 100% SMD (with the exception of USB plug, FTDI, UART and factory reset connectors). v4.1 also has an onboard FTDI chip, which allows code uploads to be done via an ordinary USB cable (hence the vertical USB connector). The price of v3.3s is 100$ USD (+ shipping) The price of v4.1s is 110$ USD (+ shipping) (extra parts onboard) Please note that though it has been proven that these modules are reliable and work great, there are some bugs we are working through and software gets updated from time to time. So, let me know if you want one. Same rules as before: *) Reply to this post with "Yes! I want one!" message no later than by 11:59PM PST, August 5, 2016. This will allow people from all time zones of the world express their interest. *) Please also put the desired version of BlueSaab in the post. *) On August 6 I'll make a draw and pick the "winners" and will let them know individually so we can sort out the details. *) You'll help us test the module and provide feedback occasionally :) ![]()

Any version will be fine. But as i understand you are picking the "Winner" who has the chance to buy the unit? |

Yes, correct. We are not building these as a product on a production line. In my case, I have parts to assemble modules rom time to time, which I gladly do. Since the demand is higher than the supply, I have to go the lottery way, so it's an equal opportunity for everyone interested. :)

Yes! I want one! v4.1, please!
Would it be straightforward to change its Bluetooth name/would you be willing to do that?

"Yes! I want one!"
Version 4.1 preferred, but Version 3.3 is also acceptable. Either one is better then what we have now. |

Yes, the "broadcast" name that's going to be visible on your audio source (e.g. phone), can be changed.

Hello... Will the module function with a single CD system type? I have a 93 Arc 2003 LHD for US market. I have the facilities to produce SMD boards. Thanks

Is your 2003 a convertible? If so, then yes, it should work. If you don't have a convertible, then no, it will not work. This module only works with the OG9-3 body style, not the NG9-3. It's confusing because Saab kept the OG body style for 2003 only in the convertible; the sedans/wagons for 2003 are NG body style.

Folks! The draw has been made and the "winners" have been contacted individually. Sorry I couldn't make modules for everyone. BUT - stay tuned! I might do another soldering "marathon" soon...
