Need for an FTDI cable

Need for an FTDI cable

To clarify: do I still need a FTDI-USB cable to flash to the STM? Since I see there is also a micro-USB header included in the BOM I was wondering if I could use that to upload things?

That is correct. Flashing of STM32 is done via FTDI cable. USB header was included for possible future upgrade that would allow BlueSaab to be flashed via USB cable as USB device.
